Edge has an anti-phishing and anti-malware tool called Microsoft Defender SmartScreen that monitors the websites you visit. It is able to protect you from trackers that get your browsing history, cryptominers that use your computer resources to mine cryptocurrency as well as fingerprinters that uniquely identify you based on your device. Here’s how you can change the browser privacy settings.

  1. Open Microsoft Edge.

  4. Click Privacy and services.

  5. Click Basic if you want the lowest security setting.

  6. Click Balanced if you want the recommended security setting.

  7. Click Strict if you want the highest security setting.

  8. Clear browsing data.

    To do this just click on Choose what to clear then choose what data to delete and click on clear now.choose what to clear

  9. Send “Do not track requests”.

    You can turn this switch on to send a do not track request to websites.send do not track request
