Google Chrome is the most popular browser in the world today. It is the primary choice for most computer users due to its speed and security. The browser will automatically set the default language that it thinks you will be using however sometimes it will get it wrong. When this happens you can just simply change the language that the browser is using. In this latest installment of our troubleshooting series we will show you how to change your language in Google Chrome.

Change language setting in Google Chrome

Changing the language setting in the Chrome browser is an easy procedure. Generally, you will want to do this if you don’t want to use the default language that the browser has automatically picked for you.

Change Chrome languages

Open Google Chrome.
You can click on its icon from the Start menu program list.
Click on the menu button.
This is located on the upper right side of the page and uses the icon of three vertical dots.
Click on Settings.
This is usually the third option from the bottom.
Click on Advanced.
You can find this at the left pane or at the bottom of the right pane.
Click on Language.
This will open the browser language settings.
Scroll through the available languages and click on its menu.
This is the three vertical dots on the right side of the language. You can also click on add languages.
Place a check mark on the box “Display Google Chrome in this language”.
This will display Chrome in the chosen language.
