How To Change Your Language In Google Chrome

Google Chrome is the most popular browser in the world today. It is the primary choice for most computer users due to its speed and security. The browser will automatically set the default language that it thinks you will be using however sometimes it will get it wrong. When this happens you can just simply change the language that the browser is using. Change language setting in Google Chrome

Changing the language setting in the Chrome browser is an easy procedure. Generally, you will want to do this if you don’t want to use the default language that the browser has automatically picked for you.

Change Chrome languages

  1. Open Google Chrome.

  2. Click on the menu button.

  3. Click on Settings.

  4. Click on Advanced.

  5. Click on Language.

  6. Scroll through the available languages and click on its menu.

  7. Place a check mark on the box “Display Google Chrome in this language”.

After performing the steps listed above you should restart the Google Chrome browser for the changes to take effect.

Translate webpages in a particular language

Aside from changing the language to be displayed by the browser you can also translate a webpage to a language that you can understand.

  • Open Google Chrome. You can click on its icon from the Start menu program list.
  • Go to a webpage written in another language.
  • At the top, click Translate.
  • Chrome will translate the webpage
