Refresh the mouse

One quick way to fix this problem is by refreshing the mouse. You can do this by removing the USB receiver from the computer and removing the battery from the mouse. Wait for a minute before placing back the battery and plugging in the receiver.

  • Go to the device manager and click on the option to update the mouse again.
  • Select the second option “Browse my computer for driver software”. Go to the location where you installed the driver and install it accordingly.
