Radeon RX 590 vs RX 5700 – Performance
Both the RX 590 and RX 5700 graphics deliver 4k gaming experience for the pc gamer. They both have high-end components that offer speed and robust stability. However, RX 5700 is faster.
For the RX 590 GPU, you have the innovative tri-c cooling technology which keeps the system performing well in high-end games. It offers enough stability to keep the system at a relatively stable temperature, no matter the level of gaming activity.
There is Intelligent Fan Control mechanism and easily replaceable connect fans to keep the entire RX 590 under control.
But both the RX 5700 and RX 590 have Radeon anti-lag technology that provides ultra-fast response time and reduce input latency.
Also, the True Audio Next is designed into both GPUs to offer high audio productivity for a better gaming experience. With the all-new RGB lighting, you can easily customize your system with a plethora of color options.
Additionally, the trixx boost feature provides the needed power support for more technical situations.
On the other hand, The RX 5700 is relatively impressive for overclocking, surpassing the overclocking capabilities of RX 590
From our test, it was about 5% faster than 590 when managed on a fully stable 1650MHz overclock.
Overclocking also enhanced the system power use by up to 50W while gaming. If overclocking is one of the main reasons you need a powerful GPU, it will be more appropriate to choose the RX 5700 GPU over the RX 590 model.
After testing the RDNA 1.0 cards inside RX 5700, it’s safe to say the GPU is an impressive one.
It managed to surpass RX 590 in terms of speed when playing high-end games. It also delivers continuous frame rate increases over the RX 5700, although the gap between them is not too clear.
