Another one of our favorites is the EVGA GeForce GT 1030. This is a lot more powerful than the other cards on our list, but does sit at a similar level of performance as the ASUS option. One of the highlights of this is that this is a low profile card, which will work with standard motherboard sizes, but are particularly nice for the lower profile micro-ATX options. It has a large heatsink, which keeps the card cool under heavy load — excellent for the silent gaming PC. It comes with its own 2GB of vRAM as well.

MSI Gaming GeForce 710

Next up, we have MSI’s version of the GeForce 710. Another fanless graphics card, this one comes with 2GB of RAM, allowing you to keep some of the more demanding games operating smoothly. It certainly might not be a choice for the latest games, but should be able to keep up fairly well.

The chipset on the video card itself actually has a clock speed of 1.6GHz.

There’s no DisplayPort on board, but there is VGA, DVI, and even HDMI. It can actually support up to two monitors, which can be nice for a multi-monitor setup.

Manufacturers can only make video cards so powerful, and eventually a heatsink-only setup isn’t going to work depending on the amount of power you need. If you don’t do a whole lot of high-end gaming, these cards will work fine, but don’t expect to be doing anything on “Extreme” settings.
