There are several factors that can cause this particular problem ranging from a corrupted cache to an invalid configuration. Listed below are the troubleshooting steps you need to do to fix this problem.
Restart Chrome
The first thing that you should do in this case is to restart the Google Chrome browser. This allows it to launch properly and load all of its components.
- Type “chrome://restart” in the address bar of Google Chrome then press Enter.
- Open Facebook when the browser opens.

Delete the cache and cookies of Chrome
There’s a possibility that corrupted temporary data is causing this problem. To check if this is the culprit you will have to delete the cache and cookies of Chrome.
- Open Chrome.
- At the top right, click More .

- At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
