There are several factors that can cause this problem ranging from spam email sending to an email stuck in the outbox of the Yahoo mail app.

  • If you send a lot of emails in a short span of time
  • If an email is stuck in the outbox
  • If you are sending an email to a large number of recipients

Delete emails from the Outbox folder

If you are trying to send out an email and it gets stuck in the outbox folder then the system might detect this as spam as it is constantly being sent out, despite the fact that it is still stuck on your end. If this is what’s causing the problem then you will simply have to delete the email.
