Acer Aspire E15 vs Dell Inspiron 15 Comparison
1. Acer Aspire E15
The Acer Aspire is a great laptop for both at home use and work use. It has some good components, and the long lasting battery is definitely a plus. The components are a 7th gen i3 2.4GHz processor, 4GB DDR4 memory, 1TB 5400 RPM HDD, 12 hours of battery life, and a backlit keyboard. The backlit keyboard is especially helpful if you work or use the laptop during the night or in a dark room so you can see all the keys without trying to guess where they are, ending in some weird combination of letters. This laptop is really awesome, and those on a budget will definitely appreciate the fair cost.

2. Dell Inspiron 15
The Dell Inspiron 15 has a lot of neat features, one of them being something called “Intel Realsense.” Intel Realsense is a 3D camera and a touch screen, which not a lot of laptops come with. As for the specs, the Dell Inspiron 15 comes with a crisp touch screen display, 6th gen i7 2.5GHz processor, 8GB DDR4 memory, 1TB 5400 RPM HDD, and a backlit keyboard. Compared to the Acer laptop, it is surprisingly affordable with all of the great features.

Comparison
As aforementioned, both the Acer and the Dell laptops are going to be great picks, no matter which you choose. Both the Aspire E15 and the Inspiron 15 will most likely last you a long while, so longevity definitely isn’t an issue if you’re looking into that. Basically, most (if not all) comparisons really boil down to what you’re looking for. So ask yourself this question: “What’s really important to me in a laptop?”
The Aspire E15 is really great on battery life, coming in at 12 hours. The keyboard is also backlit, just like the Dell one. However, while both these laptops are similar, the Aspire E5 doesn’t come with the touch screen option, the 3D camera, or the better processor that the Inspiron 15 has. While the processor is barely better, that maybe something that you would like to take into consideration. The beautiful thing about the Inspiron is that it does have that pretty smart camera, and on top of that, a touch screen.
Acer Aspire E15 vs Dell Inspiron 15 Comparison Our Take
Both of these laptops are certainly worth taking a look at. If you’re on a tight budget and are looking for something functional, then we definitely want to recommend the Aspire E15. However, if you’re fine with anything cheaper, and you like a few bells and whistles, then, by all means, the Inspiron 15 is an excellent choice.
