While this is a solid performing software there are instances when certain issues can occur. How To Fix GeForce Experience Not Opening Issue

Before performing the recommended troubleshooting steps for this particular problem I suggest that you try restarting your computer first. This will refresh the operating system as well as remove corrupt temporary data and is quite effective in fixing most software related issues.

Reinstall NVIDIA GeForce Experience

If after restarting the computer you are still unable to open the NVIDIA GeForce Experience then the software might be corrupted. You will have to uninstall this and install a fresh version.

  • Press Win + R to open the run
  • Type appwiz.cpl and click OK
  • Look for Nvidia GeForce Experience from the list of installed applications and double-click on it and then follow the uninstallation instructions.
  • Download the GeForce Experience from here 
  • Open the Download location of the application and launch it. Go through the installation process until the installation is completed.

Re-enable the NVIDIA GeForce Experience Service

Sometimes the problem is caused because the GeForce Experience service is not running. If this is what’s causing the problem you will have to re-enable it.

  • Press Windows + R keys on your keyboard to open the run prompt
  • Type services.msc and hit Enter to open the Services console.
  • Search for NVIDIA GeForce Experience Service and double-click it. Set the Startup type to Automatic and then start the service if it’s been stopped.
  • Repeat the same process for the Nvidia Geforce Experience Backend Service.
  • Find the Nvidia Telemetry Container service (if available) and change the type to Manual or Automatic.

Reinstall the NVIDIA GeForce driver

If the above steps fails to fix the problem then you should try to reinstall the GeForce driver as this might be corrupted.

  • Press Windows + X on your keyboard and select Device Manager.
