Uninstall Windows 10 updates manually
If you are experiencing issues on your computer after downloading and installing an update then there’s a possibility that the problem is caused by this update. Although these updates can improve the stability and security of your computer sometimes it can cause certain drivers to fail or apps to crash. The problem can sometimes be in the installation process and by the actual update. Here’s how to remove the update from your PC.

Remove Windows 10 update
- Click on the Start button.
This is located on the lower left side of the screen.
- Click on Settings.
This will open the Settings window.
- Click on Update & Security.
This is usually the last icon on the Settings window.
- Click on Windows Update.
This can be found on the left pane.
- Click on View update history link.
This can be found on the right pane.
- Click on Uninstall updates.
This is the first link on the top left side of the window.
- Highlight the latest update by clicking on it then click on uninstall.
This will uninstall the update.
- Click yes on the new window that pops up.
This will confirm the uninstall procedure.
Restart the computer. This will ensure that the changes made will take effect. After performing these steps you will successfully uninstall Windows 10 updates.
How to reinstall update in Windows 10
