TP Link TL-WN725N

Coming up first on our list, look no further than the TP Link TL-WN725N. TP Link is well known for all of its wireless products, so you know that you can trust TP Link with this WiFi antenna adapter. Setup is easy — plug this into your computer or laptop, and within minutes (or less), you’ll have functioning WiFi on your PC or laptop.

The cool thing about this adapter is that this one actually supports up to 150Mbps in download speeds. On top of that, it promises a lag-free and low latency connection on the hardware end. This one actually works on 2.4GHz frequencies. There’s no 5GHz support, at least not yet.

EDUP Wireless Adapter

The EDUP Wireless Adapter is worth looking at, actually providing you with faster speeds than the TP Link. It still plugs into your USB port, but does take up significantly more space. Like the TP Link, this one operates on 2.4GHz wireless frequencies, but download speeds are actually doubled, giving you a whole 300Mbps.

This actually has something that EDUP calls a “High Gain” external antenna, which helps with your wireless range. And as you might imagine, setting up this WiFi adapter is extremely easy — plug it into the USB port on your computer or laptop and Windows will automatically recognize the device, setup the necessary drivers for it, and then you’re ready to start surfing and playing on the Web.

NET-DYN AC1200 Dual-Band WiFi Antenna

NET-DYN has an excellent adapter for your PC, too. Just like the others that we’ve shown you so far, plug this WiFi adapter into your computer, and Windows automatically installs all the necessary drivers. Once complete, your PC should have wireless functionality, and when you connect to your local network, you’re ready to start surfing the Web. It works the same way for Mac devices as well.

This one actually works on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies. It can provide you with up to 100 yards of coverage, and can hit download speeds of up to 1200Mbps.

Edimax EW-7811Un

Edimax has a really good option here as well with their EW-7811Un. This is one of our favorite styles, because this WiFi Adapter is the size of a Bluetooth receiver for a mouse or keyboard, essentially no larger than your fingernail. That makes it most ideal for travel, as you don’t have to worry about it taking up space or accidentally breaking an antenna.

Like the others, this is a plug and play solution where the operating system will automatically recognize the device and install the necessary drivers; however, because of its portability, it can only do download speeds up to 150Mbps. That’s still pretty good! This one just operates on 2.4GHz frequencies, not the 5GHz that some of the others are using now.

TP Link Archer T4U V3

We already told you how well TP Link does in networking and wireless products. That said, you might want to consider one of their more upgraded adapters — the Archer T4U V3. It’s still simple like the others — plug this into a USB port, and you’ll be setup for a wireless network within minutes, if not seconds. There’s excellent hardware in it, supporting speeds all the way up to 1300Mbps.

This one is a little more It actually has a fold-out antenna, giving you a better, stronger, and wider connection. This one works on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz wireless frequencies.
