Press Enter and you should see “Ok”
Close the Command Prompt and open League of Legends
You will now appear offline to friends

This works by blocking the connection to Riot’s chat servers so you are “disconnected” from friends. You can still play games normally though.

To undo it:

Open Command Prompt as Admin again
Type netsh advfirewall firewall delete rule name="lolchat"
Press Enter and close Command Prompt
Relaunch League and you will appear online again

Method 2: Using Deceive

Another option is to use a third party program called Deceive. This also blocks chat server connections to show you as offline.

To use Deceive:

Download and install Deceive
Launch League of Legends through the Deceive app instead of directly
Make sure to run Deceive as Admin
You will now appear offline in the client

The advantage of Deceive is it works on all servers automatically. The downside is it can be buggy. The command prompt method is usually more reliable.
