GeForce is a popular graphics card brand designed by Nvidia that is preferred by a lot of gamers. When you have an Nvidia graphics card in your computer then chances are you will also have the Nvidia Experience software installed. This comes with several tools which allows you to optimize your gameplay experience. Although this is a stable software there are instances when certain issues can occur. How To Fix GeForce Experience Error Code 0x0003 Issue
Before performing any of the recommended troubleshooting steps listed below its best to restart your computer first. This will refresh the operating system and remove any corrupted temporary data that could be causing the problem.
There are several reasons why this particular issue can occur on your windows 10 computer most of which deals with the software. Listed below are the recommended troubleshooting steps that you will need to do to fix the problem.
Allow the Nvidia Telemetry Container to interact with desktop
One of the main reasons why this problem will occur is if the Nvidia Telemetry Container is not permitted to interact with the desktop. If this is what’s causing the problem then you can fix this by following the steps listed below.
- Press Windows key + R to open up a Run dialog box.
- Type “services.msc” inside the text box and press Enter. If prompted by the UAC (User Account Control), click Yes to grant administrative privileges.
- At the Services screen, scroll down through the list of services and locate Nvidia Telemetry Container then right-click on it and choose Properties.
- At the Properties screen of Nvidia Telemetry Container, select the Log On tab and make sure that the box associated with Allow service to interact with desktop. Click on Apply to save the changes.
- Return to the previous screen with the list of services and locate the following services, right-click on each of them and click on Start to ensure that all of them are running: Nvidia Display Service, Nvidia Local System Container, Nvidia Network Service Container.
Check if the GeForce Experience error code 0x0003 issue still occurs.
Reinstall Nvidia components
There are instances when this problem can be caused by a corrupted driver and component. To fix this you will need to reinstall the GeForce Experience as well as every Nvidia driver.
- Press Windows key + R to open up a Run dialog box.
- Type “appwiz.cpl” and press Enter to open up the Programs and Features screen.
- Inside the Programs and Features window, and click on Publisher
- Right-click on the first listing published by Nvidia Corporation and choose Uninstall. Then, repeat this process with every item published by Nvidia Corporation from this list.
- Restart your computer and wait for the next startup sequence to complete.
- Once your computer has fully started, visit this link: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/geforce-experience/. Click on download now then follow the on-screen prompts to install it.
- Once the software is installed, it will automatically install the missing drivers. Once the new drivers are installed, restart your computer.
Check if the GeForce Experience error code 0x0003 issue still occurs.
Reset the network adapter
Sometimes this problem can be caused by an issue with the network adapter. If this is what’s causing the problem you will need to perform a Winsock Reset.
- Click the Search icon (magnifying glass) in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen and type “cmd” into the search bar.
- You’ll see the Command Prompt app . Right-click on it and select Run as Administrator.
- A black box with a flashing cursor will open; this is the Command Prompt. Type “netsh winsock reset” and then hit the Enter key on your keyboard.
- Wait for the Command Prompt to run through the reset. Once it’s complete, you’ll see the message “Winsock reset completed successfully”.
- Restart your computer
Check if the GeForce Experience error code 0x0003 issue still occurs.
Install the latest GeForce drivers
In case the above steps fails to fix the problem then your last option is to manually install the latest GeForce drivers to your Windows 10 computer.
- Press Windows key + R to open up a Run dialog box.
- Type “appwiz.cpl” and press Enter to open the Programs and Features screen.
- At the Programs and Features screen, locate every installation published by Nvidia and right-click > Uninstall to remove every driver associated with your GPU. Follow the on-screen prompts to remove the driver from your computer.
- When all Nvidia products have been uninstalled, restart your computer.
- At the next computer startup, visit this link: https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us , and set your GPU model, series, operating system version, and language. Then, click on Search to find the latest driver version available for your GPU configuration.
- When the download is complete, install the latest driver by following the on-screen prompts.
- Restart your computer when the installation of drivers have finished.
