Check the microphone in Windows settings

The first thing you will need to do in this case is to make sure that the microphone is not disabled in the Windows settings.

  • Press Win + I to open the Settings.
  • Select the Privacy option.
  • Click the Microphone tab present at the left side of the screen.
  • Now turn on the microphone in the right section. You could also enable or disable apps to use the mic.
  • Save changes and exit.
