How To Fix Avast VPN Not Working Issue
Before performing any of the recommended troubleshooting steps listed below it’s best to restart your computer first. This action refreshes the operating system and remove any corrupt temporary data that could be causing the problem.
There are several factors that can cause this particular problem ranging from a server overload to an interference from a third party software. Listed below are the troubleshooting steps you need to do to fix the problem.
Try changing the VPN location
When connecting to the VPN service you will choose a specific VPN location to connect to. For example, if you connect to an Australian VPN location then other services on the internet will think that you are in Australia. Sometimes this problem can be caused by the location you have chosen. To check if this is what’s causing the problem you will need to change the VPN location.
- Open the VPN application and select the Privacy option from the left side of the screen.
- On the right, click on the button of Change Location and select another location which wasn’t selected before.
