One of the most common causes of this problem is a network connectivity issue that’s preventing your computer from communicating with the Netflix server. Here’s what you need to do to fix this.

Prerequisites:

Restart the computer.
Restart the modem/router.
Check if you are able to access websites using your browser.

Method 1: Run the Internet Connections troubleshooter tool

Windows 10 has various tools available to help you fix certain issues. One of these is the internet connections tool which you should try running.

Time needed: 5 minutes.

Click on the Start button.
This is located on the lower left side of the screen.
Click on Settings.
This will open the Settings window.
Click on Update & Security.
This is the last option on the Settings window.
Click on Troubleshoot.
This can be found on the left pane.
Click on Internet Connections.
This can be found under the Get up and running section of the right pane.
Click on Run the troubleshooter.
The computer will check for any connectivity related issues. Follow the on-screen instructions to fix the problem.
