It actually delivers efficient cooling with a dual pump 120mm fan system, but you can also upgrade your liquid cooler to a 240mm system, which again, is more ideal for overclocking and high-end computing, like gaming.

No matter what size you choose, it keeps your system running effectively, even in the high load times when your processor is working its hardest. Like we mentioned, the 240mm system really works for some of the more demanding tasks.

The MasterLiquid LC120E has been around for quite some time, but this latest-gen model outperforms most things that CoolerMaster has done up to this point.

You get some really nice FEP tubing in this setup as well. Your tubing material is actually one of the most important aspects of liquid cooling. So, this FEP setup, actually brings you kink-free tubing, which is able to them maximize the flow of liquid to your CPU, keeping it cooler for longer, and more reliably, too.

The Thermaltake Water 3.0 is another excellent choice for those looking for something to maximize their cooling capabilities. This one is actually offered in a number of different models, bringing you options for standard computing as well as more high-end tasks. Each model meets affordability and performance needs of different levels.

It also has a low profile design, so it should sit in your PC well without taking up too much space. A three-year warranty keeps you protected against any defect that you might come

Alphacool Eisbaer 280

Next on our list list is the Eisbaer 280 — top liquid coolers are often expensive, but Alphacool has managed to create the perfect formula between a top performing cooler at a good, value for money price.

The Krakem M22 has a handful of unique abilities, including some sweet RGB lighting effects. You can really make your system stand out, and pair it with any other RGB lighting that you might have, such as not he case itself. Obviously you’re going to get the most out of that if you have a transparent case, or at least glass windows.

Other than aesthetics, the fan itself can be purchased in a variety of different sizes for maximum cooling potential. This one in particular is 120mm in size, but it’s available in a number of other setups, too.

upHere Liquid Cooler

Next up, we’re looking at sphere — this one has an amazing Liquid Cooler, and will have no problem keeping most LGA 1151 processors cool. The i5  already doesn’t emit a whole lot of heat, but if you attempt to do any overclocking, this Liquid Cooler is going to have no problem keeping things at good operating levels.

As you might imagine, upHere is able to deliver outstanding cooling performance to your processor, which is largely due to the copper microfin waterblock. Corsair H100I V2

If you haven’t heard of Corsair before, you’ve likely been living under a rock! Corsair has made a name for themselves as a prolific maker of gaming peripherals, as well as other PC components, such as cases and power supplies. That said, they’ve got their hands in liquid cooling now, and that is the H100I V2 cooling system. It actually works really well! Not only that, but it’s extremely versatile, working with AM4 and LGA 1151 sockets, as well as many older sockets. That said, you can use this with almost any motherboard out there. Unlike the Eisbaer, you cannot adjust performance from the BIOS. You’ll have to download Corsair’s own software on your PC — the iCUE program. This allows you to make a number of adjustments, including control over the RGB colors, fan speed, and etc.

Corsair H100I PRO RGB

This is, at its core, the same thing as the H100I V2, but with some notable changes as far as the bells and whistles go. From that standpoint, it’s certainly an incremental upgrade that might not be worth the extra money; however, for those that want to trick out their PC with cool colors, the added ability to customize lights and make their PC silent is great to have. Your primary lighting ability here is on the water pump itself — there’s few lights on the fans — there’s a number of colors that you can customize it within the downloadable iCUE software. Not only that, but you can control individual fan speeds and pump speed from this software as well. If you want, you can even monitor coolant temperatures from the program. Cooling capabilities are essentially the same, but this one does have a unique Zero RPM Mode where cooling fans stop entirely when your processor is at a low temperature, eliminating noise from your PC entirely.

Thermaltake 240 Water 3.0

Coming up next on our list is from Thermaltake — the 240mm Water 3.0 liquid cooler. While this was designed for the average consumer in mind, this cooler is a workhorse. You won’t have an issue keeping your processor at normal operating temperatures with this one. The 240mm Water 3.0 liquid cooler ditches both of those features to make it affordable for the average consumer; however, you still get the same high performance cooling power here. Not only that, but it’s extremely quiet, as the built-in governor does an excellent job at limiting fan RPMs, even when the CPU is under a heavier load.

Corsair H115I Pro

Like many of the others on our our list, this one comes in a variety of radiator sizes to meet different cooling demands, but 280mm seems to be right on the money in terms of value for money. But, if you’re doing some demanding work with your CPU, you’ll definitely want a larger radiator size if your case and motherboard combination can handle it. The dual-fan liquid cooler is able to stay quiet, provide excellent fan performance and airflow, and that’s even under heavy loads when you’re doing some high-end gaming or demanding professional work like video editing, programming, etc. Just like our other Corsair models, you can manage and customize everything straight from the iCUE program.
