How To Fix Lifesize Webcam Not Working

Although this is a solid performing platform there are instances when certain issues can occur. One of the common issues that people are experiencing when joining or hosting a Lifesize meeting is that their webcam does not seem to work. Here’s what you need to do to fix this problem.


  • Close other programs running in your computer that might be using the camera.
  • Restart your computer.

Method 1: Select the correct camera

The first thing you will need to do is to make sure that Lifesize is detecting and using the correct camera.

  • Click on Settings.
  • Click on Privacy and security.

  • Make sure that Allow is chosen on the Camera drop down box.

Method 3: Make sure the webcam can be detected by Windows 10 to fix Lifesize camera not working

You should make sure that the camera is functioning properly. The best way to do this is to check if it is detected by your computer.

  • Click on the Start button. This is located on the lower left side of the screen.
  • Click on Camera. You can find this in the Start menu list of applications.
